Perfect Game CEO Brad Clement was on hand at Petco Park on Friday, June 23 to announce that two players have been selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic at Petco Park; Brice Turang and Blake Burzell.

Many other representatives were present for the announcement including Carly Rickard and Kourtney King, Corporate and Community Development Officers for Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation, Tony Gwynn Jr. of the San Diego Padres, and Dave Gallegos, the head coach of Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, Calif., who was announced as the head coach of the West squad.

Turang and Burzell will be joined by the top 50 high school players in the country, who will come together and play on high school baseball’s biggest stage at Petco Park on Sunday, August 13. It will be the ninth straight year the event will be hosted at Petco Park, and the game will be televised on the MLB Network.
